Sexual Problems are Treatable

Sexual and relationship problems are both extremely common and very distressing. Fortunately, recent advances in diagnosis and treatment have made it possible to find satisfying solutions to most problems. Experienced therapists and physicians using an integrated treatment approach can help couples find solutions to even long-standing problems. The Center provides individual, couple, and group formats.

Treatment Services

Treatment for ALL sexual difficulties including:

Interdisciplinary Approach

Sexual problems involve an interaction between the mind and the body. Medical conditions, medications, psychological concerns, relationship and family issues, and one's cultural and religious background may all contribute to sexual difficulties. Our interdisciplinary team of therapists and physicians evaluates all of these factors in developing a treatment plan that fits your lifestyle and choice of medication and/or nonmedication approaches. Most therapy lasts 10 sessions or fewer.

Specialized Sexual Health Services

Many women find sex frustrating and disappointing. We can help women to overcome inhibitions or complaints interfering with their sexual comfort and pleasure. Female staff members are available and provide "women-friendly" treatment. Sexual enhancement groups for women are offered on an "as-needed" basis.

Consultation and Education

Women's Health Specialists and the Center for Sexual Health and Wellness are committed to the education of both patients and physicians. Therefore we provide:

Research and Clinical Trials

There is an increasing array of medications that are helpful in treating both male and female sexual problems. Treatment includes a focus on both medical and relationship issues that may interfere with enjoyable sex. The Center offers the latest in clinical trial participation and, as a patient, you may choose to participate or choose not to participate in one of the clinical trials.
